Recently, I got a critical comment from a fellow Indian against my blog post in which I explained how taxation is robbery (Tax Evasion in India). The comment was How can you think like this? What is a government? Govt. asks tax not for their needs but for your needs. If you are not paying taxes, then you have no right to blaim government for poor roads, trafic, etc. You got it. Shame on you Guy! People like you are a burden for country Obviously, he (who calls himself as ‘The True Indian’ do not like the idea of paying taxes, obviously, he doesn’t understand what are taxes. The Democratic Government
Here is how a democratic government works, or how the U.S. democratic government is working Well, it is not a sarcasm, the U.S political decay is certainly promising to rob the rich and to provide free services for poor. Why the hell is this right? Well it is not right. But hey, even this is contradictory. Governments throughout the world ten to protect corporations while the same governments do everything to rob the individual. Corporates somehow, seems to be sacrosanct for the governments. How easy it was for the government to provide those huge stimulus and bailout amounts for those defaulting and wasteful corporates? They never thought about the common man and the burden the US economy will face due to that stimulus given to the sure faulty and worthless corporates. And now, the government faces Bankruptcy and to delay it a little, the government proposes a furthermore burden of debt again on the tax payers. It obviously is ridiculous, the idea of government is ridiculous.
The Myth of Corruption Making India Poor
Anna Hajare raised the slogan against corruption in favor of his Janlokpal Dream and almost every Indian felt the energy of anti-corruption waves. Similar synergy was shown by Indians when Swami Ramdev raised his voice against the black money1 deposited in Swiss Banks. Everyone was worried about the huge amount of Indian money deposited in Swiss banks like UBS. However, very few people realized that bringing black money back in Indian economy will certainly increase the current inflation manifolds and goods, food articles and other daily need commodities will go further high. Thus, that black money if brought back will cause more poverty2 and troubles for poor and middle class family. Obviously, Indians fail to understand that money although is a form of Capital; basically it is nothing but a means to exchange goods and commodities. They also ignore that our currency is Fiat currency which can be easily inflated by the government to raise prices. No Right to Free Speech and Privacy for Indians
Indian government recently decided to culminate freedom of Indian citizens by order the Department of Telecom to effectively monitor the Facebook and Twitter accounts of every Indian internet users. Your blogs will be checked and even your private mails are no more private1 . What is it means? It simply means that government believes that the citizens are potential threat to the exploitative, corrupt and oppressive governmental system which is famous for fake encounters by police and army men. It also means that politicians are suspicious that the common men have suffered a lot through political corruption and oppressiveness of government and they can group in to protest. Since government doesn’t want anything against it, it is trying to restrict your freedom of speech and expression. Now you need to remain very alert and cautious while using internet.
