The Vijay Mallaya ownede UB group decided to withdraw the controversial ad depicting Mahendra Singh Dhoni making fun of Harbhajan Singh.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the current captain of Indian Cricket Team and Harbhajan Singh is a team member. So in order to maintain friendly decorum in between the two, The UB Group decided to withdraw the ad of McDowells Platinum.
However, it all seems murky because the UB Group was initially legally charged by the lawyers of Harbhajan Singh against the advertisement and yesterday, even Vijay Mallaya stated that he won’t remove that ad. So what happened within a night?
May be Vijay Mallaya got the information that while the Indian government certainly boast about its democratic culture and willingness to ensure individual freedom and freedom of speech, however, all this is just fake and he can well be charged and punished by the court and the government if he won’t patch up with Harbhajan Singh 
specially when his mother has made the notice that the ad hurts religious sentiments.
So you see the irony? There is no freedom in India and no right to freedom of speech.
Remember the Danish case of the cartoonist Kurt Westergaard who created controversial cartoons of Mohhammad? Every Muslim and supporter of Islam in every part of the world criticized that cartoonist and plead the Danish government against that cartoonist.
However, the prime minister of Denmark said he cannot act against the individual right of Kurt Westergaard, who did nothing wrong, no crime, but just exercised his freedom of speech.
So do you realize now why India is still a developing and obviously much corrupt country?
There is no Individual freedom and no respect for the human rights.
Some time the picture of Shah Rukh Khan is opposed and forced to change its name from Billu Barber to something g else because the name of movie hurts a community’s sentiments, and some other day, the movie Delhi Belly is rebuked and punished because it contains some niceties which are not niceties for some people.
So you see, Indian law and Indian government cannot respect or support or safeguard individual rights, forget property rights, it can even not respect the freedom of speech. Just a few days ago, Swami Ramdev was brutally evicted from Ramleela Maidan along with his supporters. All of it was against individual liberty and individual rights, and freedom of speech.
