While the whole government is against the agitation of India Against Corruption under the leadership of Anna Hajare, there is hardly any Member of Legislation who actually supports the Janlokpal Bill proposed by Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan, Shanti Bhushan, Kiran Bedi and Santosh Hegde. Yet, most of the politicians in opposition refrained from directly opposing and criticizing Anna Hajare and his agitation against corruption. The few MLAs who decided to attack the IAC and Anna Hajare included Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former chief minister of Bihar and the president of Rashtriya Janta Dal. It seems that neither Swami Ramdev1 , nor Anna Hajare really understand the nature and psychology of politicians and their political moves and that is why it is hard for the civil society of India to produce anything valid and effective against the corrupt political, administrative and judicial system of India. The same problem of being unable to understand the nature of politicians was faced by the U.S. citizens when they wanted to dethrone George W. Bush and his Republican government as they were opposing the senseless and highly expensive wars raised by Bush government on the name of war on terror. The result of their lack of understanding of psychology of politicians led them to believe that the Democrats under the leadership of Barack Obama would be able to end their misery and the 44th and current president of the United States would successfully reduce the burden of national debt and economical turmoil and he will also be able to improve image of the United States in other parts of the world. However, time proved that Obama was no …Read the Rest
