The inflammatory movie against Prophet Muhammad is still on YouTube and the US Embassies around the world are feeling the tensions. The US citizens are also feeling the heat and situation is becoming graver because of the tensions between the US and Iran and other countries of Middle East. The main issue against an American is to contemplate about the current situation in which they have had an ambassador (Chris Stevens) killed on foreign soil. Many Americans believe in the ideal of non-aggression principle. However, they also question about the authenticity of American presence in those countries. Yet, the instantaneous question that arises in front of them is, is the violent killing of American ambassador in Libya and other violent incidences cause for compensatory violence? Having been attacked, are the Americans justified in retaliating? The very nature of this question is nationalistic and often people fail to analyze such situations in a rational way; rather they react emotionally. Was it an Act of Initiation of Aggression? It should be noted that the protesters against that movie clip which is against Prophet Muhammad are only active in certain countries including Libya, Yemen, and other such countries that have suffered the ill-effects …Read the Rest

Update: For a detailed analysis of exorbitant price rise of petrol, please check Exorbitant Petrol Prices and Dilapidated Indian Economy. When asked about why petrol prices are being raised every third month, the Finance minister of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee answered that petrol has been de-regularized and hence, the issue of rising prices of Petrol is not dependent on the government, but it is dependent on the oil companies offering petrol and the prices will be ruled by the open market forces. Pranab Mukherjee said1 , Petrol is a decontrolled item. Nobody in the government knows about the petrol price hike because prices are increased by the petroleum companies not by the government. The idea behind this statement was just to defend the government against the remarks of opposing parties as BJP leader Yashwant Sinha clearly said that prices of petrol couldn’t have been raised again without the permission of the prime minister and the UPA leader Sonia Gandhi. Obviously, Pranab Mukherjee was telling a blatant lie. The fact is nothing has been de-regulated or de-controlled in India; however, the means of regulations have been changed. These changed regulations are being termed as decontrolling of petrol prices. Why is he …Read the Rest

Even Indian Prime Minister realized the necessity to suggest Europe and the United States government to resolve their debt crisis. Obviously, this looming crisis is going to hurt every part of the world and specially India because of its own burden of huge national debt.1 What is this national debt crisis and how can it be solved out? The figure below explains the dilemma of the United States and its government. Same is the case with European countries and the Asian countries too. While this is true that at present, India is on a safer side of crisis line, but Indians have already experienced similar situations in 1991 and while it was the time for Indians to learn a bit more than the Western world, Indian government failed to learn its lessons properly and hence the fiscal deficit kept growing up every year. In 2009, India’s GDP was $2.55 trillion and its national debt was 78% of its GDP. This should be noted that the national debt of the United States in the same year was just 60% of its GDP, however, the US has an enormously bigger figure of GDP against Indian GDP and hence national debt of the …Read the Rest

Recession Comes Back Again

The U.S Recession is back again and it is wide spreading throughout the world. Recession is back even though President Barack Obama and Fed did everything possible according to Keynesian irrationality of breaking windows to save the United States against the previous economic meltdown of 2008. In 2008-2009, when Obama introduced huge stimulus packages to save American jobs by investing American tax-payer’s money in those public and private sector ventures which were faulty, irrational and corrupt, he thought it will help America to retain its losing glory. The effect of his Keynesian steps were inspired and favored by the master of Keynesianism Mr. Paul Krugman who won the Nobel Prize in Economics on October 13, 2008 and Obama was also convinced about the magical skills of Ben Bernanke and while appreciating his magical skills, Obama said Bernanke’s background, temperament, courage and creativity helped to prevent another Great Depression in 2008. However, there were people who warned Obama, Bernanke and others that depression is nothing but the much needed corrective measure or the medicine for the ill economic conditions of the United States. They suggested that the market shouldn’t be disturbed further by inflicting more fiat currency in it as that …Read the Rest
